der head. (See page 53 for seat removal and
installation procedures and page 93 for en-
gine cover removal and installation proce-
dures.)

1 Star label location
One Star - Low Emission
The one-star label identifies engines that
1 meet the Air Resources Board’s Personal
Watercraft and Outboard marine engine 2001
exhaust emission standards. Engines meet-
ing these standards have 75% lower emis-
sions than conventional carbureted two-
stroke engines. These engines are equivalent

to the U.S. EPA’s 2006 standards for marine
engines.
