Care and storage

To rustproof the internal engine compo-
nents:
(1) Remove the seat and fire extinguisher
holder. (See page 59 for seat removal
and installation procedures and page 65
for information on the fire extinguisher
holder.)
(2) Remove the plastic tie that is fastening
the fuel hose to the holder on the star-
board side of the air filter case.
 JETBLASTER DLX / JETBLASTER LTD:
(3) Release the hooks on the port side of the
Shift rod (reverse gate end) and ball joint air filter case, and remove the air filter
case cover.

TIP
Disconnect the shift rod from the ball joint be-
fore lubricating.
