This label is attached to the port side of the
air filter case. (See page 59 for seat removal
and installation procedures and page 65 for
information on the fire extinguisher holder.)

1 Star label location
One Star - Low Emission
The one-star label identifies engines that
meet the Air Resources Board’s Personal
Watercraft and Outboard marine engine 2001
exhaust emission standards. Engines meet-
ing these standards have 75% lower emis-
1 sions than conventional carbureted two-
stroke engines. These engines are equivalent
1 Manufactured date label location to the U.S. EPA’s 2006 standards for marine
engines.
